This consists of the book of abstracts for the 4th International Media and Society Symposium organized by İstinye University Faculty of Communication. Prepared with the main theme of "Media of the Future," the work compiles numerous academic studies examining the effects of digital transformation on media, art, and communication processes. The book predominantly discusses the transformative role and ethical dimensions of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in creative industries such as graphic design, illustration, cinema, and journalism. Furthermore, the effects of concepts like Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and the Metaverse on storytelling and museum experiences are examined. The roles of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, etc.) in the context of surveillance capitalism, self-presentation, and digital activism are analyzed with a critical perspective. The work also includes readings on gender, identity, and ideology through films, as well as current marketing strategies such as neuromarketing and digital advertising.
