Synopsis

Compilation examining the multidimensional crises created by the Covid-19 outbreak on a global scale. The work demonstrates how the pandemic, beyond being merely a health issue, led to profound changes in economic and social structures. Chapters in the book analyze the economic impacts of the pandemic on supply chains, logistics, tourism, and SMEs, as well as fluctuations in financial markets and shifting marketing strategies. On the social dimension, topics such as burnout and anxiety experienced by healthcare workers, the compulsory digitalization and distance education practices in educational processes, changes in social lifestyles, and anxiety levels are addressed. This multidisciplinary study offers important findings for understanding the socio-economic legacy of the pandemic and preparing for future crises.
